Rosa Passos is a brazilian singer and guitarist. This is one of my all time favorite albums. I love “Samba com Pressa” but if i listen to “pano pra manga” i am just blown away. Here is her website: rosapassos.com
2. If you are looking for an acoustic guitar that is “easy” to transcribe check out this beautiful album from Djavan. Also if you are not in a good mood just listen to this CD and try to sing along. I recommand to listen to “Muito Obrigado” and “ Flor de Lis” (but of course the whole album is just great😭)
3. Here is another supercool album: “Eliane Elias sings Jobim”. Classic Jobim tunes with the most beautiful harmonizations and to top it all of Michael Brecker is playing on it too!!
4. Maria Bethania !!! i have been listening to this album soo much (such a special voice she really gets under my skin) also I love the cavaquinho such a cool little instrument
5. And last but not least Hermeto Pascoal! I don´t remember an entire album i have been listening too but a song : Bebe! a really wonderful and melancolic song.
