🎸 Bossa Nova for Beginners👌 - Day 1

Day 1

This is an introduction to Bossa Nova. Watch the video on my Instastory ( tinajckel) to hear how it sounds and also see how I play it:

Today we are only going to learn these two chords that sound great and are not too hard to play:

Take your guitar and play the g, h and e string with your right hand, using the index, middlefinger and ringfinger . Play all the strings simultanously and count out loud TA KA DI MI.

After a while use your thumb (right hand) and play the thumb on the TA.

Try to play one of the chords with your left hand. After a while switch to the second chord.

Day 2

Let´s use the sixteenth notes we have been practicing yesterday to create a rhythm.

How?

And we are going to practice 16 th notes. You can count sixteenth notes by saying out loud : TA - KA -DI - MI and tapping your foot on the TA.
